Nicolás Ruarte / NoMa is an interdisciplinary artist. He works as theater director, set designer, 2d, 3d animator, plastic artist, audiovisual producer, performer, musician, photographer, drone pilot and graphic designer.

He is a student of the BA in Visual Arts at UNA with an specialization in Image Digitalization.
He has worked since 2017 as a 3D modeler, photographer, drone pilot, audiovisual producer and graphic designer for the Ministry of National Transportation, making renderings of infrastructure projects, photographic, topographic and audiovisual surveys with drone and camera, institutional posters, graphics and audiovisuals.

He has worked in theater since 2006, being part of the technical team and cast of different works such as Arismendi , Umbra , HABITUS , Eloísa Deshabitada , La historia de llorar por el , No se plancha , Artriptico and more. Playing various roles from general director, art director, set designer, filmmaker, interpreter, musician and sound and light console operator.
In 2017, during the production of HABITUS , he began an investigation into his family history as the grandson of two soldiers prosecuted for their crimes in the last civic-military dictatorship of 1976, which lead him to question the construction of identity and the pact of silence from the military families.
With the support of the director and the cast, he wrote a monologue about this story, entering as a performer for the last two plays, starting a path to the truth that would have no turning back.

Through social networks, he made contact that same year with the collective Historias Desobedientes y con faltas de ortografía: hijas, hijos y familiares de genocidas por la Memoria, la Verdad y la Justicia , of which he is currently a member. The monologue written for HABITUS is today part of the book Escritos Desobedientes (Marea editorial, 2018).

In 2018, together with his team, he founded the artistic collective La Jauría performance theater and began the creation of Arismendi through experimental rehearsals and visits to the Esma Memory Site Museum.
.
La Jauría Teatro Performático is a theater, dance and performance company, it is an interdisciplinary collective. It takes the characteristics of the wolf pack and work as a team to achieve a common goal: the incessant search for a deep reflection on socio-political and philosophical aspects and on the very language of theater and the arts themself. The company is a collectively owned and self-managed, creating a development space where each member can participate in all the works in the different roles that are necessary and present their projects to be produced by the group.
.
In 2019 he presented his first work as a director, Arismendi , a play based on the violent events that took place during the last civic-military dictatorship of 1976 that passes through the daily life of Argentine society from a controversial perspective: the house of a head of the 601st intelligence battalion.
